Pink and Black Bow Cake
I adore this cake. I love how there is no rhyme or reason to the circles, just very random and whimsical. The bow was fun to make. Hope you like!
Pink and Black Polka Dot Cake
I was asked to do this little cake for a little girl's first birthday photo shoot. I thought it turned out so cute! I think they're going to have her tear into it and eat it in the shoot, how fun! I love it.

Cornelli Lace and flower cake
I made this cake for my birthday. I made only one cake but I had made 2 flowers and couldn't decide which one to use on the cake so I put one on one side and the other on the opposite side. Turn it 180 degrees and you have a whole new cake! After placing the flowers, I much prefer the dark one but the white was pretty too. I love how the lace turned out, hope you like it too!

ABC Block Cake
My baby turned 1! This cake was so fun to design, I've had it dreamed up for months. The blocks are just styrofoam blocks I bought at the dollar store. I thought about making them out of cake until I found the blocks for a dollar each. We really didn't need that much cake anyway!! Hope you like!

Purse, Bow and Polka Dots Cake
I think this is my FAVORITE cake I've done yet!! I love pink and green together, I love girly things, and I love it when cakes turn out exactly how I plan! I made this for a sweet little girl turning 2 who loves purses.
The purse is made out of rice krispy treats. The cake is a 3 layer lemon cake with raspberry filling. The handle and bow are made out of gum paste and the rest is decorated with fondant with royal icing curly cues and an edible pearl border . The only thing I wish is that I had put a ribbon around the cake board! I didn't have the right size ribbon and no time to run to the store. Poor planning I guess, oh well! Love it, love it, hope you love it too!!

Cheeseball BATS!
Fun, scary, black and cheesy! I made these cute little bats for a halloween party. They are made out of my favorite cheeseball recipe given to me by my brother, rolled into golfball size, coated in poppy seeds and accessorized with blue corn tortilla chips and black olive slices! I got the design idea from this blog copingwithfrugality.com, but used my own cheese ball recipe.
Cheeseball recipe:
2 - 8 oz packages of cream cheese, softened
8 oz Chedder cheese, shredded
1/4 tsp Garlic salt
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
2 tsp Mayonnaise
1/4 Green Pepper chopped fine
1/4 Red pepper chopped fine
2 green onions, white and green parts included, chopped fine
Cream together cream cheese, garlic salt, garlic powder, and mayonnaise until combined and smooth. Stir in peppers and onion. Stir in chedder cheese. Form into small balls, roll in poppy seeds. Place olive slices on top for eyes. Place in refrigerator to firm up. Insert corn chip wings just before serving. Enjoy!
